Jichang Sun

Founder and partner of Beijing Bonding Law Firm, attorney Jichang Sun graduated from Beijing Normal University and received his Juris Master from the Open University of Hongkong. Currently he is a member of All China Lawyers Association and Beijing Lawyers Association. In 1986, he was awarded an academic title as “economist”. He used to serve as a teacher and senior executive in a state-owned enterprise and began practising as a full-time attorney after he passed the bar in 1988.

When Sun worked for enterprises with foreign investement, he drafted and reviewed numerous contracts regarding foreign trade and investment with the total amount in dispute exceeding 500 million dollars. Till now, he has represented clients in more than 700 cases and lawsuits and some of the speeches he made were included and published in a book named “defence speeches by famous lawyers”.

As a representative of Beijing Bonding Law Firm, Sun participated in the 7th Beijing Lawyers Congress. Currently he serves as a law professor in three universities in Beijing and teaches core courses such as Contract and General Principles of Civil Law. His expertise includes foreign-related legal Affairs, contract, real estate, construction, defence with special attention on important, complex and difficult cases.
